Outline : The “Bioinformatics Trends” Manuscript management system integrates four basic modules relating to the four major partners of this system namely- Administrator (‘Bioinformatics Institute of India’, ‘Publication management team’) Authors, Editors, and Referees. It automates the main process from : Authors’ registration in the “Bioinformatics Trends”, their login, in to the system and submission of manuscript, Editor’s login, selection, pre-screening, detailed review (main screening), peer review process- referring the manuscripts to the referees, Referees’ registration, their login and refereeing, Administrator’s login, monitoring the status in all the steps, ensuring availability of manuscripts/revised manuscripts to the editors, responding to the editors and authors. The system facilitates communication/sharing information between the administrator and editors, editors and referees and administrator and authors.
