Five Day Intensive Workshop on BIOINFORMATICS at CSRTI, Mysore

"Bioinformatics Centre (Sponsored by DBT), Central Sericulture Research and Training Institute, Mysore is conducting a Five Day Intensive Workshop on BIOINFORMATICS on 3-7 February 2003 to create awareness and provide insight into the subject among students, faculty, scientists, professionals and technical personnel (working / studying) in various related fields (life science, physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, computer science, etc). The workshop is well designed covering areas from the fundamentals (Biology and Computer Software) to the advanced tools and techniques in Bioinformatics. Lectures / demonstrations will be arranged from eminent scientists/professionals in different fields. The number of participants is restricted to 50. The workshop fee is Rs 1200/- per head for working / sponsored candidates and Rs 600/- for students/unemployed candidates. Interested persons can submit their application in the prescribed format so as to reach this office on or before December 1, 2002 either by post/email/courier/fax. The fees has to be paid by the selected candidates in the form of DD drawn in favour of Director CSRTI, Mysore only after hearing acceptance from this end.
